Bowling Green Asset Management acquires Milton Keynes Hotel

    According to BGAM, the hotel will “benefit immediately from rebranding and major rolling refurbishment programme”

    A “substantial” hotel in Milton Keynes, previously trading as Hilton Milton Keynes, has been acquired by branded hotels operator Bowling Green Asset Management (BGAM).

    The purpose built, 138 bedroom hotel features conference and function rooms, with the largest holding 300 guests, a bar and lounge, 120 cover restaurant and leisure facilities including a gym.

    The business sees trade from both leisure and business guests with a strong commercial presence in the area and famous visitor attractions, including Stadium MK, Silverstone Racetrack and Bletchley Park.

    Jamie Levy, director at BGAM, said: “BGAM are delighted to confirm the purchase of our fifth hotel, the MK Hotel, Milton Keynes. We see a lot of growth potential in the hotel and area as a whole and the hotel will benefit immediately from rebranding and major rolling refurbishment programme.”

    Alex Campbell, director at Christie and Co, who handled the sale, added: “We received strong interest in the hotel as it represents a superb opportunity to rebrand and reposition the hotel within the Milton Keynes market. BGAM will undertake a refurbishment of the hotel and it will fit perfectly into theirexpanding portfolio.”
