Florian Fighting Championship (FFC) is a prestigious professional boxing competition, which made its debut in 2024 in Zalău. Organized by the “Florian Fighting Sport” Sports Club Association, FFC brought top boxers from around the world to the forefront, offering the public high-class matches and memorable moments.
The first edition took place on May 24, 2024, marking a premiere for Sălaj County, being the first professional boxing gala organized in this region.
The event was dedicated to the memory of Rudel Obreja, former champion and president of the Romanian Boxing Federation, recognized for his significant contributions to promoting Romanian boxing internationally.
The second edition of FFC, scheduled for April 3, 2025, promises to continue the tradition of excellence in professional boxing. The gala will take place at the “Gheorghe Tadici” Sports Hall in Zalău and will include two matches for the WBF world champion belt. The event will be broadcast live on PRO ARENA, thus offering boxing fans from all over the country the opportunity to watch the boxing spectacle.

Currently, Bili Mustafa is active at the “Leonard Doroftei” Boxing Club in Bucharest and is preparing for the second edition of the Florian Fighting Championship (FFC), where he will enter the ring under the guidance of his trainer, Leonard Doroftei.
His participation in this gala represents an opportunity to demonstrate his skills and consolidate his position in Romanian professional boxing.
Leonard Dorin Doroftei, known as the “Lion of Ploiești” and one of the living legends of Romanian boxing, began practicing this sport at the age of 14, and his talent and determination quickly propelled him into a boxing career. Throughout his amateur career, he accumulated 239 wins and only 15 losses.
In 1997, Doroftei switched to professional boxing, signing with the Canadian club Interbox. On January 5, 2002, he became the WBA world champion in the light lightweight category, after a decision victory over the Argentine Raúl Horacio Balbi. He managed to defend his title against the same opponent on May 31, 2002, in a match held in Bucharest.
After retiring from competitive activity, Leonard Doroftei dedicated himself to training new generations of boxers, becoming a coach and mentor for young Romanian boxers. In 2012, he was elected president of the Romanian Boxing Federation, contributing to the development and promotion of this sport in the country.
